A very dangerous marsh, with acid for water, and flesh-eating fish. The only way to cross is to jump from mossy rock to mossy rock. Beware, though, as the rocks are slippery and its rumored that mystical creatures come and knock you in, to be eaten alive.

This is the mountain where Naraku takes time away to regain strength and rebuild his body. It is here where many of the Shichinintai meet their demise and the place where Hakudoshi is born

| The Abandoned Kaijinbo Lair
The old evil swordsmith, Kaijinbo used to live, before he was slaughtered ruthlessly when he became possessed by the Toukijin. Now, this lair is mainly used for storm shelter, as a strong demonic aura still surrounds this old lair.

| The Ocean
This is the ocean, vast, cold, and salty. Fish swim here, but so do sharks. Be warned. However, the sunset looks unbelievable from the shore. The sand is a pearlly color.

| Hitomi Castle
The home of the infamous Naraku who poses as the young lord Kagewaki Hitomi. The area is lush around the castle, but a deathly stillness surrounds the area. No wildlife is ever seen or heard but the minions of Naraku are frequent sights. Naraku once managed to trick sango to almost kill Inuyash to get the Tetsuaiga.

| The Shinto Temple
This is the temple run by the Buddhist priest Mushin, who took in the lecherous monk Miroku when his father died. Though Mushin has aged in years he is still seen attending to the temple and its grounds. On occasions Miroku still stops here to pay a visit to the grave of his father, and to check on the old priest who raised him

| Bat Demon Cave
Now abandoned, this cave was once the home of Taigokumaru's clan of bats. The barrier surrounding its entrance was supposedly one of the strongest in the world. After kidnapping his granddaughter Shiori, Taigokumaru brought her to this cave and forced her to sustain the barrier.

| Onigumo's Cave
This is the cave where the bandit Onigumo lay dying while under the care and protection of the Priestess Kikyou, whom he fell in love with. While Onigumo resided in this cave his greed led him to sell his soul to demons, and hence forth he became Naraku. Now that he has left the cave the spot where he lay while he was dying is so poisoned with evil that no living thing grows in that spot.

| Bone-Eater's Well
Known by those in the Feudal Era as a place to dispose of demon remains, this well is also a gateway that connects the Feudal Era with Modern Japan. It was discovered for its supernatural ability by Kagome when she was pulled down it by a demon on her fifteenth birthday. Later it was discovered that only those possessing jewel shards can travel through it.

| Inuyasha's Forest
The forest that is not far from Kaede's village. Here you can find the God Tree where Inuyasha was sealed to for fifty years. The forest is lush and forever changing with the seasons. It is also the home of many demons but recently their numbers have been dwindling because of a certain Hanyou.

| Musashi's Domain
Musashi's Domain is the place where our story began when Kagome freed Inuyasha from the God Tree. It is also the area of Japan in the Warring States Era that is home to Kaede's Village. The group often returns here when they need advice from Kaede or when Kagome returns from visiting the future, they need a break from traveling.

| Totosai's Lair
This is the lair of the fabled blacksmith Toto-sai who forged the great sword Tetsusaiga as well as Tensaiga from the fangs of a powerful Inu Youaki Lord. Toto-sai lives in the petrified remains of a unknown demon. Located on the edge of an active volcano, sword requests may be made here, but don’t expect the picky sword smith to make a sword for just anyone.

Rumored to have mystical powers Mount Fuji is worshiped by many, as well as feared. Earthquakes are usually minor, but frequent in this area. Which most nearby villagers believe happen when the gods are angered. Women are forbidden to set foot on this mountain.

| Harmaa Village
A village that lies very close to the center of each of the four regions. It is a mixed, but prosperous village. Demon, and half breeds often travel through here without the scorn of humans, though they are wary of them. Trading here is plentiful and you can find most anything for the right price.
